"Blues Matters," one of the leading blues magazines in the United Kingdom, reviews "Live at Blues Alley." (see Reviews).  

2/20/06

Melanie wins her third "Best Blues Recording" award to date for her band's Live at Blues Alley CD. Other honors this year from the Washington Area Music Association (WAMA) include the band's third nomination for "Best Blues Band," as well as Melanie's third nomination for "Best Blues Instrumentalist" and her fourth nomination for "Best Blues Vocalist."
