Melanie releases her second CD, Lonesome Is I. It is her first solo acoustic release.

Melanie opens solo acoustic for the celebrated D.C. duo, Little Bit of Blues (Warner Williams and Jay Summerour), at Strathmore Hall.

Melanie opens solo acoustic for legendary singer/songwriter Don McLean and his band at the State Theatre.

Melanie is nominated for the second year in a row for "Best Blues Vocalist" by the Washington Area Music Association (WAMA).

1/17/04

Melanie opens solo acoustic for the legendary guitarists of Little Feat – Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett – at the State Theatre in Falls Church, VA. Melanie gets to meet more guitar heroes!
